Covered Wagon 3 Day Trip

It is the trailhead where you will stay the first and the last night of your adventure vacation. YD Ranch guides will take time to fit you to your perfect horse and saddle and also provide you with all the safety and riding instructions you will need for your journey. Your YD guides want to make sure you are confident and comfortable so your wilderness horseback trip adventure will be one for the memory books. We cover wagon together with its master team driver moves out in the early part of the day! This is where you can make a choice to ride on the covered wagon or ride the trails on your perfect equine partner as we follow the wagon to your overnight destination! This incredible adventure is as close to the original covered wagon pioneer trips as you can get! You will really get to experience much of what the early brave pioneers of the west experienced. The Yd crew sets up your authentic western camp in a picturesque setting beside a little lake or mountain stream. The YD Ranch wilderness kitchen offers a protective dining-fly for your comfort with a wood stove. The camp cook prepares delicious, hearty meals for your enjoyment which you can eat in the tent or around the campfire. Get ready to be surprised! You will have a spacious private tent with a cot, waterproof floors, and screen windows. Portable showers are available for your comfort, although the more adventurous wash away the days dirt in the creek talk about invigorating!
