Amalfi Coast - Limoncello Experience

Departure from Rome in the morning towards Salerno, where we take a ferry tour all over the splendid Coast and eventually disembark in the world-famous Amalfi.

Once arrived at the port, we start by taking a walk through the city streets, among the architectural beauties and the fragrance of the typical cuisine coming out of the shops, arriving eventually at our next destination: the Lemon Tour. 

Here, we see the famous gardens and open spaces teeming with centennial trees full of the famous Amalfi lemons, which we flavor through citrus salads, lemon desserts, freshly squeezed lemonade, citrus biscuits and much more. At the end of this tasteful break, we start again passing by the Museo di Civiltà Contadina Arti e Mestieri (Museum of Farmer’s Culture and Craft) and then arriving at the shops where it is shown the process by which Limoncello is produced. The liquor is tasted while having lunch under the shadows of the lemon trees.

The tour carries on with our last visit: the Museo Della Carta (Paper Museum). Our guide takes us through centuries of history and ancient tools and machines, describing us birth and creation of paper.

Our Amalfi visit ends here and we return to Salerno and then Rome.
