Take the road through the green Bois Chéri tea plantation to the factory that produces this drink inherited from our British colonial past. In the chalet choose from a variety of different teas; taste them while gazing out onto the spectacular panoramas directly in front of you. Next experience the peace of life long ago at St Aubin where there is an original plantation estate – an unforgettable visit imbued with the scent of anthurium flowers, vanilla and rum.

Lunch will be served at either the St Aubin colonial house or at the Andrea lodges. After lunch, take the road to La Vanille Réserve des Mascareignes – a wonderful place for those who love animals and nature. The climax of this excursion is a walk along the marvellous Gris-Gris cliffs fashioned by the pounding of the wind and the ocean waves.
