At Escuelas we will find different formations that create several coral islands over a white sandy bottom. It has many passages that can take you from one side to the other of the reef, creating a kind of endless maze. The site gets its name from many different schools of grunts, Porkfish and Caribbean Chubs. It is also quite common to see stingrays and turtles at this site.
