Situated twenty meters below ground, the Catacombs were built and conceived in the galleries of the former quarries to solve the problem of overflowing cemetery. In more recent years, the Catacombs got the attention of the Parisians and are said to host secret, underground parties.

Our experienced guide will make you re-live the amazing history of this subterranean world that once served as a mining site, share with you some of its most interesting stories, legends and anecdotes while guiding you through the quarries and tunnels lined with the skulls and bones in a labyrinth that stretches hundreds of miles (1.7 km).
