Day 1: Guatapé town

This tour starts in Medellin. Enjoy the beautiful view at the top of the giant rock in Guatapé, including the lake directly behind it. Visit a very special classic town and meet the artists that create the colorful facades on the homes known as “Zócalos.”

Overnight in a natural reserve where your once-in-a-lifetime experience includes discovering how to use a dry bathroom and sleep in a guadua (bamboo) room in the middle of the forest.

Day 2: Natural Reserve San Rafael

Visit a natural reserve and the Permaculture Project. Explore the banks of the Guatapé River and Arenales River. Discover wonderful places to take a bath and swim in clear turquoise fresh water. Observe a large variety of plants and birds during your hike and immerse yourself in the tranquility and beauty of the San Rafael Reserve.
