A propos de cette activités
Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel between 7:30 - 8:15am. Plan to arrive early for your tour, as this is a shared group experience. Begin your day with a visit to Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree, a big banyan tree that is popular with local villagers who come to burn joss sticks and make wishes under it. Then head to Yuen Long Stadium to watch the Tin Hau Festival celebrations (which end at Tin Hau Temple at Tai Shu Ha). From your reserved seating area, watch a colorful procession of dragon dances, lion dances, Chinese acrobats, floats, and performances.

Take part in celebrating the legend of Tian Hau, daughter of a fisherman who was born in China's Fujian Province, and had visions enabling her to predict storms and even save people from drowning. Consequently, fishermen adopted her as their patron saint and Tian Hau temples can be found wherever there are fishing communities in southern China.

Visit Yuen Long, a traditional New Territories market town where fishermen sell their catches and home to one of the biggest Tin Hau celebrations. Head to Tin Hau Temple at Tai Shu Ha, to see a display of elaborate and giant far pau (floral wreaths), which villagers believe will bring good luck and protection.

Tour ends with drop-off at your hotel at approximate 5:30pm.
