Coach Day Tour - Lantau Island Visiting and Giant Buddha Cable Car Tour Plus Tai O Boat Ride

1 day
A propos de cette activités
Hotel pickup in the Kowloon area begins in the morning. Board your coach for the transfer to Lantau Island. Arriving at Tung Chung, climb into the Ngong Ping Cable Car and take in 360-degree views of the South China Sea and North Lantau Country Park during the 3-mile (5.7-km) journey.

At Ngong Ping, snap photos of the Tian Tan Buddha, a 112-foot-tall (34-meter) bronze statue reached via 268 steps. Your guided tour includes admission to three floors of a museum beneath the Big Buddha, including the Hall of Benevolent Merit, Hall of Remembrance, and a relic of Sakyamuni (Gautama Buddha). Continue to Po Lin Monastery, perhaps the most visited Buddhist temple in Hong Kong and a pilgrimage site for Buddhists from all over the world. Here, you're served chef-prepared vegetarian Chinese cuisine for lunch.

After returning by cable car, board your coach to Tai O fishing village, once the largest inhabited settlement on Lantau Island. The stilt houses on the waterfront — reached via a boat ride — offer a glimpse into Hong Kong's past and provide a striking contrast with the modern city.

At the conclusion of your 7-hour tour, you'll be dropped off back at your hotel in the Kowloon area. Kindly remind the hotel pickup and return time is not calculated in this 7 hours. You will be back to your hotel after 6pm.
