Royal Yacht Britannia tickets

The Royal Yacht Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the British Royal Family for over 40 years, sailing over a million miles around the world. Now an award winning five-star visitor attraction and permanently-berthed in Edinburgh, visitors can follow in the footsteps of Royalty to discover the heart and soul of this most unique of Royal residences.

The tour of Britannia covers five decks of the ship and is done by means of an audio guide which is included in the price of admission. Beginning at the command center for the ship (the Bridge) visitors will see the areas of the ship in which Her Majesty the Queen and her family lived as well as the areas where the 240 officers and crew lived and worked. You will see the State Dining Room where the Queen entertained many of the world’s heads of state over a 40-year period and the tour ends at the magnificent engine room, providing a fascinating insight into life aboard the United Kingdom’s last Royal yacht.
