Private Day Trip: Hiking in Sinharaja Rain Forest

At 8am or 9am (depending on selected option), our friendly driver will pick you up from your hotel in Colombo to start your journey to Deniyaya. Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide at the entrance of Sinharaja where you will begin your 5-hour hike through the rainforest.

See the rarest species of birds, reptiles, and plants that are endemic to Sinharaja and Sri Lanka. Your tour guide will take you through man-made trails and you will have opportunity to capture amazing photos on your camera . After walking for two hours, you will head to Kekuna Ella Falls, one of the waterfalls within the reserve that ends with a cool shallow pool. After a quick break, you will walk to Pathan Oya Falls, another beautiful waterfall hidden in the forest.

Mingle with local villagers before enjoying your mouth-watering local lunch, wrapped in banana leaf. End of the tour enjoy the worry-free as you are transferred back to your hotel in Colombo.
